Jonelle, married with three beautiful children, is a Registered Nurse that works in the trauma department. She loves hanging out with her family and enjoys the company of others. Whenever she gets a chance for down time, you can catch her at Target, her favorite store.  Target is where she finds peace and quiet time away from her busy household.

“When you love what you have, you have everything you need.” This is her favorite quotes, and it is a simple reminder that her life is about being happy and grateful for the things she already has.

Jonelle has a husband that loves her dearly and kids who look up to her.   She is also very proud of her career as a RN in which she has the opportunity to care for others.  If you get the chance to meet her, she is such a nice person with a kind heart and a beautiful smile. Her daughters are so adorable. Jonelle and her daughters were kind enough to hang out with me at their favorite park. It gave me the opportunity to find out what Girls’ Day means for Jonelle.

What does Girls’ Day mean to me?

Girls' Day is simply a way to teach our little girls that they are most important during their youth. I am a believer that we need to instill confidence and the meaning of loving yourself to our children. In my opinion, kids want to grow up so fast and miss out on childhood. I remember wanting to be older when I was younger, and now, I wish I could do it all over again.

When I was younger, I appreciate my parents for teaching me how to express myself and to be comfortable in my own skin.  My parents' words helped me build my confidence.  For girls and women, it is vital to surround yourselves with those that light your fire.  It doesn’t just have to come from your parents, it can come from anyone or anything that inspires you.  Happy Girls’ Day.
